Peer review of the steel canopy on a $943 million embassy campus.

For over five decades, the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City has been housed in a building that was once considered "the second largest U.S. embassy in the world" at the time of its construction. In February 2018, the State Department initiated the construction of a new complex with a budget of $943.1 million. This project was undertaken by New York-based firms Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects | Partners (TWBTA) and Davis Brody Bond, marking the inaugural project commissioned under the State's Design Excellence Program.

In this project, the scope of MBY involves conducting a Engineering Consultancy for the steel canopy structure that covers the entire courtyard, as requested by the contracting firm Caddell.
