FİBA Renewable Energy — Wind Turbine Foundations
We delivered reinforced concrete foundation engineering for two different Goldwind wind turbine models across multiple wind farms developed by Fiba Renewable Energy in Türkiye, including projects in Balıkesir, Kırıkkale, Tekirdağ, Çanakkale, Isparta and İstanbul. The foundation designs were developed in accordance with IEC 61400-6 and project-specific site conditions, considering wind, seismic and geotechnical parameters to establish safe, efficient and repeatable foundation solutions for multiple locations.
Our scope included structural analysis, foundation sizing, reinforced concrete design, serviceability and fatigue verification, soil bearing and stability assessments, as well as coordination with the turbine manufacturer to ensure compatibility between the foundation system and turbine interface. By adopting a performance-driven engineering approach, the designs achieved structural reliability, constructability and long-term durability while enabling standardized foundation solutions across different wind farm sites.
