In this project, deflection calculations of reinforced concrete and steel main elements that are carrying the facade, were made in order to determine the joints of steel and aluminum facades in the Vakıflar Bank Head Office Service Building Project in Ataşehir, Istanbul.

Building form plans and beam reinforcement details are taken into consideration according to the static projects obtained from the project owner. Internal force and elastic deflection values under the relevant load combinations were obtained from mathematical models. Long term deflection values and structural joints of reinforced concrete beams were determined.

Turkish and American (ACI) Specifications were used in the calculations.
